The Mathauser Twins

Wilma and Amelia Mathauser are twins but don’t ask them who was born first, because they don’t know. They were born in Burwell, Nebraska and during the war Amelia moved with their older sister to Washington DC to get jobs. She soon left, following her husband to be to Seattle. Wilma soon followed Amelia to Seattle with her boyfriend. At Boeing they worked on the radio room of the B-17. Their mother also worked for the war effort in a bomb plant in Grand Island. When the twins earned enough money from working, they bought nice coats with fur collars.
